  • Sketch- a messy, seemingly unfinished illustration

  • Manga- illustration in clean line art and hatches with your choice of toning or rendered in grayscale.

  • Standard Render- Colored illustration in, what I consider, simple and straightforward that I usually work on with line art or not if you prefer without.

  • Semi-Realism Render- Colored illustration in oil painting style that borders between realism and anime. I do this without line art.

Terms and conditions

01) GENERAL TERMS1. I like experimenting so expect that my style keeps changing so be up for a surprise.2. Slot openings could be posted on Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok and/or
Ko-fi.3. I will only accept commissions through this Google form & Ko-fi but you can also ask for inquiries through email. Please watch out for Jan Tre's announcement regarding open slots.4. Commissions in Ko-fi will only be for simple commissions. Complex and Specific Commissions with additional fees, including rush commissions, are through the google form. Please watch out for Jan Tre's announcement regarding accepting commissions.5. Please read all terms & conditions. Requesting a commission indicates you’ve read everything.6. Once the quota has been fulfilled, all slots will be closed until further notice.7. Please follow the required format for requesting commissions.8. Please check your ko-fi and email frequently as I’ll be updating you through that.9. Commission Queue and Progress Status are public to see for tracking progress through Trello. Your Commission Package, Payment Status, Mode of Contact (if Ko-fi or Email) and Revisions are included in the description. Your personal details will not be included. This is also for my monthly commissions report compilation.10. Terms & Conditions are subject to change without notice so please refer back to this page for updated terms. Downloadable PDF is also available.



02) PAYMENT1. All transactions will be through Paypal and Ko-fi only. If you’re from the Philippines, I can also accept payment through BPI.2. All prices, including additional fees, are base prices. It is subject to change depending on the complexity of the commission.3. Prices are in United States Dollar (USD). I can also accept Philippine Peso (PHP) only after conversion from United States Dollar (USD).4. You are not required to pay immediately to be on queue.5. Pay Upfront/Pay a downpayment of 50% first before commission starts. The remaining 50% will be charged when the commission is 60% finished.6. I will only accept the payment once I accept the commission and sent an invoice if you wish to proceed with the commission.7. Once payment has been placed, sketching will start.



03) PROCESS & DELIVERY1. All commissions come with a simple colored/gradient/white background unless negotiated which require additional fees.2. The complexity of the commission, my chronic health issue and some other external circumstances will influence on how long it will take for me to finish your commission.3. If there is any possible delay, I will inform you.4. Turn-around will depend on the complexity of the art and the queue. It’s important for me to take my time to produce a quality work.5. Please let me know if there is a specific deadline in advance.6. First come, first served basis except if rush.7. Rush commissions will automatically make you the priority.8. Commission files will only be sent in high resolution file (png, jpg or tif) through email after a fulfilled invoice.



04) REVISIONS1. Please request revisions ASAP upon update stages.2. Maximum of 3 Major Revisions.3. Further revisions, on completed work or not, are subject to additional fees.4. Minor revisions that only takes a minute or less are not required for additional fees.



05) COPYRIGHT & USAGE


I, Jan Tre, the artist:1. I reserve the right to cancel and refund the commission at any given time with any reason.2. I will not claim the intellectual property of the commissioned artwork.3. I retain all copyrights of the commissioned artwork.4. I reserve the right to post the commissioned piece on my social media, portfolio, website, use as commission samples, etc. If the commissioned artwork needs to stay private for a certain reason, I will post it on a later date agreed upon.


You, the commissioner:5. Commissions are for personal use only. You may use the commissioned artwork as an icon, profile picture, signature, banner, desktop/phone wallpaper, layout, etc. with proper credits linking back to my social media accounts or website.6. It is prohibited to claim the commissioned piece as your own, modify, edit, add a filter, recolor, “correct”, or generate through AI.7. Commissioned pieces are always with watermarks which you are not allowed to remove, crop and modify.8. You are not allowed to resell, use, distribute, upload to print-on-demand services, etc. the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes.9. When you use the commissioned piece as a profile picture, banner, post, please credit me by adding, “Icon/Banner/PFP/Art by @_jantre on IG/twitter/tiktok” in your bio or caption if possible. “Credits to the artist” is not considered as credit.10. Linking my comics, MonoKrome Paradox, is appreciated but not necessary.



06) CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY1. Once the sketch starts, refunds & cancellations are not allowed unless I cancelled for any reason in which I will refund 50% of the total commission price and you will receive the work as is.2. If I fail to start the commission or you cancel your order before I start the commission, you will receive a full refund.3. Do not request to paypal a chargeback if you want a refund. I will transfer the money back to you myself.

  • Reference Images: (You can send as many as possible for me to fully comprehend what you want that fully supports your character description and additional requests)

Request Commissions thru:

  • Once sent, I’m confirmed that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions for commissioning Jan Tre.

  • I will send you an invoice through email once I have fully understood your order.

  • Please be aware that sending a commission request and receiving an invoice doesn’t guarantee your slot. Your line in queue will only be guaranteed once you made payment.

Work Process

Communication is important between me, as the artist, and you, as the commissioner. Commission work in progress updates will be shown as screenshots. There will be frequent updates, unless you ordered a sketch art in which you will only have adjustments and final review stages, so please check your inboxes of where you decide to contact me.There will be updates per stages and if there are clarifications that needs attention.If you do not wish for frequent updates, please tell me beforehand.Remaining payment needs to be processed once the commissioned piece is 60% finished. Final output will not be sent if the remaining payment is not processed.I am always welcome for feedback and inquiries.

This is my work schedule as a comic creator and digital artist.Please understand that my priorities lie first in my comics and then comes finishing commissions on weekday nights and weekends.Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
